Photographer, mixed-media abstract painter, and art educator. Inspired by life, nature, and relationships; currently barefoot, playing with color, shapes, and layers.

  • I am a portrait, commercial, and landscape photographer. I work out of a studio in Canton, Ohio.

Photography has been my trade for over ten years. I love documenting in-between moments and details; the uncontrived, fleeting, authentic moments of our beautiful existence.

  • My work is a practice in play, self-expression, and an exploration of my identity. I begin my process by building, layering, and feeling the colors. In front of a canvas is where I process, where I come to life and find flow. I paint for creativity, well-being, and fun!

  • I attended Kent State University for Art Education before changing my major to become an entrepreneur/photographer. I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Integrative Studies and later a Master’s in Liberal Studies with a focus on Family Life Education.

I teach drawing foundations to college students and photography workshops at the local art museum.

In my tiny studio, I offer photography mentoring, workshops, art lessons, and creative group events to help others find mindfulness, creative expression and well-being.

  • I keep a writing practice, occasional morning pages, sporadic journal entries, and two newsletters; Take Note— a newsletter for collective processing of all the ways we’re human, where I share about art and my lived experiences. And my studio newsletter, where I share studio happenings and reflections on art-making.

“...and then, I have nature and art and poetry, and if that is not enough, what is enough?” — Vincent van Gogh
